At Camp Rothschild we work to keep you camper involved in interesting and challenging activities that keep them healthy, happy and ready for more! We have large and small group activities that encourage you camper to meet new people and form lasting friendships.
Every day begins with a sense of community as we all come together for morning meeting to plan our day. The campers then meet their small groups to get ready for the daily activities.
Weekly themes are the inspiration for the core blocks. Each day holds new surprises for the campers based on both indoor and outdoor activities such as art, science, cooking, drama and more.
Every day has a different Daily ACTIVity that will keep campers moving and fit! Each afternoon is filled with your camper’s choice of activities from swimming to archery. New this year is a session for survival skills! There is a ½ hour of quiet reading built into the daily schedule to help the campers wind down and also evade that “summer slide” that teachers warn you about. The high point of each day are the swim lessons in our heated pool. These are taught by a Red Cross Certified swim instructor and lifeguard. The lifeguard is on duty when any camper is in the pool.
We keep the campers energized with our CACFP approved breakfast, lunch and snack every day. There are favorites such as pizza, hot dogs, and macaroni and cheese. Each day there is plenty of healthy vegetables and fresh fruit served.
Finally, each week will end with a special event or field trip such as Bricks for Kidz or Big Don’s Wild River Mini Golf.
We hope that you choose Camp Rothschild for your child to help them make friends, have fun, learn new skills and be the best person that they can be!
