Camp Rothschild is a nondenominational camp, housed in Temple Adath Yeshurun and on its spacious grounds. Camp Rothschild is a fully equipped camp that includes two separate playgrounds, a basketball court, a climbing wall, and a large indoor play area for rainy days. The grounds also feature an on-site, in-ground, heated swimming pool for Red Cross Swimming Lessons and free swim. All children are provided a morning snack, healthy lunch and an afternoon snack. We do not serve peanuts or tree nuts in our program.
Children age 5 through age 13 will participate in a unique program filled with art, drama, music, nature/science, physical activities, crafts, and special weekly themes. We also offer a Counselors In Training (CIT) Program for children ages 13 to 15. Once a week, campers will take a field trip to places such as NBT Stadium, Green Lakes State Park, Big Don’s Wild River Mini Golf, and other exciting destinations. We also have guests come in from our community to give presentations in their area of expertise. In the afternoon, campers participate in specialty choices beginning at 3:30 pm. Specialty choices include clay sculpture, photography, costume design, engineering, all-American sports, and more.
Each weekly program begins on Monday and runs through Friday. The registration packet allows you to select the weeks that you would like your child(ren) to attend Camp Rothschild. You may register for as many weeks as you wish. Complete the registration packet and return it with your deposit of one week of camp tuition per child and a nonrefundable $15 registration fee per child attending. The tuition deposit will be applied toward your child’s first week in attendance. Payment is due on Mondays or at the beginning of the month. Payments may be made by personal check, cash, or with a credit card.
